Donkey show: Outrageous cars that haven't made it into production, and likely never will.
Everyone has a buddy who went to Mexico, got loaded, and saw a “donkey show” involving a woman and her beast of burden. It ruled, he says. But where are his pictures? The truth is, there was no donkey show. The only one that really ever happened was in The Godfather II. And that’s a movie.
So in coming months, we’re going to expose automotive donkey shows that exist entirely in the twisted minds of their creators.
First up are two pieces of automotive vaporware—outrageous cars that just haven’t quite made it into production, and likely never will. But that doesn’t discourage the people promoting them from making grandiose but dubious claims. Here are a couple of the great ones that promise the moon. As the donkey master said, keep your nose plugged.
