Last year reports emerged claiming that Ken Anderson, a well-known U.S. engineer who has worked in prominent F1 roles, was in talks with Honda about setting up an American-based F1 team. With Honda announcing its decision late last year to pull out of the sport altogether, speculation about Anderson’s future plans has once again flared up. According to latest reports, a new F1 team is under wraps in the U.S. and is set to be launched officially later this month. The team is expected to be fronted by Anderson and F1 stalwart and broadcaster Peter Windsor.
