Sadly gone the way of the Dodo, classicly awesome hood ornaments were once one of the most unique features of cars. What's the best one ever?
Eternally obsessed with all things Detroit, Ben and Ray chose the Pierce Arrow and crystal Mercury badges respectively. Ever the traditionalist, I prefer the Jaguar leaper because it conveys the classy aggression of old Jaguars perfectly. Like most of its counterparts, pedestrian crash regulations sadly killed off two of the three in favor of a meek looking pussycat badge and a strange Obama-rising-sun-like circular chrome tchotchke. And Pierce? Killed off long ago. So what's yours?
